About Us

Abernethy Environmental Association (AEA) is a community and voluntary organisation established in 1999 for the purpose of improving Abernethy's natural environment.
Previous AEA projects include
- upgrading Nurse Peattie's Garden
- establishing the Rough Glen path network
Since November 2011 we have been focussed on improving Abernethy's two main parks, Williamson Park and Powrie Park.
We have an active committee of seven local people and hold meetings every 8 weeks, usually in the Crees Inn, Abernethy. We are always looking for new input and energy, so please do get involved and come along if interested.
Committee Members are:
Joyce Adams, Chair Ogilvy Webster
Jill Young, Treasurer Jill Donnachie, Secretary
Robin Macdonald Zoe Robertson
Ann Sangster
All members of the community are welcome to attend AEA meetings especially those organisations who use and value local parks and green space.
Check the events calendar for meeting dates or contact us for more.
